What Is An Ambassador?
An Ambassador is a specially appointed individual chosen by your
company - usually within the Human Resources or Payroll Department
- who serves as the credit union advocate for the company.
An Ambassador:
- Provides communication between the employees at the company
and the credit union.
- Educates employees about the benefits of credit union membership.
- Shares the credit union advantage with fellow employees.
When you offer NASA
Federal Credit Union membership to your employees, you are pledging
your company's commitment to their financial well-being.
What Does An Ambassador Do?
As your company's credit union Ambassador, you provide the link
between your coworkers and the financial benefits of NASA Federal
Credit Union. You help us serve the financial needs and help meet
the financial goals of the people who work for you - making for
more satisfied employees by communicating the benefits of NASA Federal
Credit Union.
And, you help us share the advantages of credit union membership
with those you work with using newsletters, posters, articles and
other materials developed by your credit union.
What Does It Require?
To be a credit union Ambassador requires nothing more than a belief
in the NASA Federal Credit Union benefit and a willingness to share
it with others. We'll do all the rest.
Special Recognition
Your Ambassadorship allows you to benefit from all the credit union
services plus enhance your own financial skills and knowledge. To
show our appreciation, we provide you with special free Ambassador-only
services. Plus, we are pleased to sponsor special events to recognize
your contributions to your employees' financial well-being, the
Ambassador program and to NASA Federal Credit Union.
What Is The Credit Union Benefit?
As a member, your employees can count on the area's most competitive
rates; anytime, anywhere access; a means to establish credit (very
important to your younger employees); credit and budget counseling;
and a variety of ways to save easily or invest wisely.
Best of all, once employees become NASA Federal Credit Union members,

How Do You Participate?
An a credit union Ambassador, we ask you to:
- Encourage coworkers to join NASA Federal Credit Union
- Understand your employees' financial concerns
- Share the advantage of "once a member, always a member"
credit union services with employees
- Communicate money saving credit union specials to employees
using materials supplied by the credit union.
- Recommend NASA Federal Credit Union to employees with financial
needs
- Participate in a variety of options that to introduce credit
union services, such as presentations, open houses, benefits fairs,
or webcasts where we can come to you in the comfort of your own
desk space.
How Do We Help You?
As a credit union Ambassador, we recognize that you're an important
liaison between your employees and the credit union. We'll help
you in any way we can with your mission and provide the following
tools:
- Special Web site @ nasafcu.com/ambassador that lets you - or
your staff -get up-to-the-minute program news, detail, order forms
and announcements
- Monthly newsletter mailed or e-mailed directly to you with
the latest promotional announcements and news you can use
- Credit union announcements you can post right on your company
bulletin board
- Paycheck stuffers you can include in your pay envelopes announcing
credit union services
- On-site consumer seminars by credit union professionals and
sign-up days at your office
- Consumer articles you can use in your employee newsletter
- Downloadable Intranet page you can add directly to your Intranet
- or link you can provide to your employees
- Membership kits to provide to new hires during orientation.
- Presence at Open Houses or Benefits Fairs
- Powerpoint Presentation and Webcast availability
