Guaranteed Issue Term Life Insurance – This new term life insurance program is tailored exclusively to members age 45-75. Members in this age group can now get up to $25,000 in affordable term life insurance — without a medical exam or a single health question. Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance – Use this coverage to protect you in the event of an accident. As a NASA Federal Credit Union member, you are eligible to receive $1,000 in AD&D coverage at no cost to you. Once you have enrolled in the basic (free) AD&D insurance plan, you will be eligible for increased coverage amounts at low group rates. Coverage is underwritten by Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company. You must activate the coverage to be protected. Long Term Care Insurance – NASA Federal Credit Union has selected CUNA Mutual Group to provide its members with quality long term care coverage through several nationally recognized insurance companies. Hospital Accident Protection – This plan was designed to help members defray the high cost of hospitalization as a result of an accident. The plan provides cash benefits, paid directly to you, for each day hospitalized. The plan offers coverage for hospital stay, intensive care, and emergency room expenses resulting from a covered accident; hospitalization due to sickness or disease is not covered. The initial two months of coverage is provided at no cost to you. Insurance is underwritten by Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company. You must enroll to be protected. Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAProtection) – If your auto is totaled in an accident or if it’s stolen and not recovered, your insurance company will only pay the present market value of your vehicle. If this amount turns out to be less than the balance of your loan, you will be responsible for the difference.
