It pays to be a member!
Our goal is to help you achieve your financial dreams - whether it's to own a home, buy a new car, get the best return on your investments, plan for retirement, or build your savings. That's why every member is automatically enrolled in our Membership Rewards program.
Our Membership Rewards program consists of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Your total financial relationship at NASA Federal Credit Union determines the level and benefits available to you.
- Bronze— Less than $2,500 in combined balances
- Silver $2,500 - $19,999 in combined balances
- Gold — $20,000 - $49,999 in combined balances
- Platinum — $50,000 + in combined balances
Take advantage of rewards such as periodic discounts on loan rates, free non-NASA FCU ATM transactions, free travelers checks and many more. View the Membership Rewards Chart.
Extra Rewards for New Members
New members receive all the benefits listed under the Silver level for the first three months after membership is opened. Beginning the fourth month, your NASA Federal Credit Union share, loan, and investment accounts will be added together. Your overall balance at this time will determine your Membership Rewards level.*
*Membership Rewards is a program that rewards you for doing business with us. In short, the more you have with NASA Federal Credit Union through your combined deposit, loan (mortgage balances are not included in combined balances), and investment balances, the more benefits you receive.
On the last day of the quarter, your account balances are totaled together. This total balance determines your Membership Rewards level: Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. If your balances increase to an amount that elevates you to a higher level, you will enjoy increased benefits beginning the next statement period. If your balances decrease to an amount that places you in a lower level, your level will not change for at least 30 days.
Each month your Membership Rewards level will be displayed on your account statement and on your Online Banking account summary page.
