How do I apply for an open position?

When you are ready to apply, click on the job listing of interest and select “Apply for this position online.” You will be asked to enter your email address, complete your profile and upload your resume. You will be prompted to complete our online talent assessment.

Is the information I provide secure?

Yes. Information you provide is transmitted to our applicant management system which is encrypted using SSL protocol. 

What happens after I apply for an open position? 

A recruiter will review your completed talent assessment and resume. If you meet all the qualifications for the role and are considered to be one of the most qualified candidates, we will contact you to schedule a phone screen.  Following the phone screen, you may be invited to complete an employment application and authorize background and credit checks.  The next step is an in-person interview with a Hiring Manager. Once the interview process is complete, you will be notified of the selection decision. All selected candidates will be required to complete a drug screening.

What type of background checks does NASA Federal Credit Union conduct?

NASA Federal conducts background checks such as present and former employer, credit, criminal, drug screening and driving records.

What if I want to apply for more than one opportunity or update my profile?

If you have already submitted an application, and wish to apply for another job opening, select the “Returning Candidate? Log back in” link and enter your existing username and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to apply for new openings or edit your information on existing applications. From this link you can also update your profile, review current job opportunities and manage your email subscriptions/job alerts.

What are email subscriptions/job alerts?

You can set up an automatic notification when a position of interest becomes available.
